Bear Stearns went bankrupt, right? So why is it that the idiot CEO that ran the company into the ground gets a $60 million dollar "golden parachute" and everyone else gets ****ed? I guess "responsibility" doesn't apply to the financial sector or the CEO's in the US.   :hopping:

All that this is going to do is encourage even more bad lending and white elephant spending. After all, if the Fed is just going to come in and clean up the mess with taxpayer dollars, why bother with fiscal prudence?
