The third mission: again, friendly forces get overwhelmed. Plotwise it makes no sense to have 2 wings of fighters defending both an installation and a destroyer when the previous missions had 4 wings away from their bases.
I can give orders to the installation. If I tell it to attack an enemy it'll swing around to give a broadside.
The primary objective to defend the Orion and the station were marked as completed when they were still under attack. They both died soon afterwords. I got a station destroyed debriefing but apparently won the mission.
All of these missions have balance issues - they're far too hard on medium. The second two need to have the numbers of friends and foe rebalanced, and the first needs a less awful primary weapon. The imitator uses twice as much energy as even the kayser for a pathetic amount of damage. If you want a weaker weapon based on the HL-7, I'd suggest reducing the damage by at most a third (putting it on a par with the prom-R) and increasing its power drain to at most 2. It would still suck, but at least it would be viable. Plotwise surely you could use a Shivan weapon, although they are worse than the prom-R.
