No--it knows that 4GB RAM is there but it does NOT use all that RAM. Grab a 64-bit version.

No, I lack Vista at the moment.  I'll probably coerce my parents in to buying it for me because I'm evil like that.  I refuse to pay for a Microsoft operating system myself.

I only have XP Home 32 bit. ):

Current price estimate comes out to $1,100 for an entire computer, shipped from newegg.com as individual components.

Oh, no!  You can't go without beer!

Lucky for me, I'm 16 in just over a month.  Law prevents me from draining cash on booze.  Yes, I know, I can still acquire some, but I'm too lazy to raid my parents' stores.
