Okay... basically, i accidentally opened the retail fred and afterwards, it doesnt access any files in the mod folders. (set via the launcher)

Before that everything was fine with pretty much any fred released with any build... no... it just loads up the default fs2 stuff instead of what it should be loading via the mod folders....

Delete Data\cmdline.cfg

If that doesn't work delete Data\cmdline_fso.cfg and run the launcher again.

there is no cmdline.cfg in the data folder and deleting cmdline_fso.cfg and running launcher had no effect. i got it covered by using the shortcut for fred with the -mod tag
