Re: Into The Depths Of Hell Chapter 2
I particularly loved that mission where you have to fire a torp right into the center of what looks like a massive shivan installation but is actually just 4 shivan juggernauts and a comm node.

Hit the dead center of the comm node with my first torp and watched the whole thing go boom :P Loved it

Eh . . . . I finished chapter 3 and I got to say this campaign's not really my cup of tea. But whatever.

I learned a long time ago that no one can please everyone.  In the end it all comes down to a case of "to each their own."

Oh yeah, don't worry about it. I noticed that there's a few campaigns out there, where people swear up and down that it's their favourite of all time but which personally I don't really care for. I think it's just me  :P Still got chapter 4 to play through though anyhow.

Re: Into The Depths Of Hell Chapter 2
Hey, im having a few problems with one of the missions in ITDOH Chapter 4:-

SPOILER:
In the mission 'Questions' where Alpha 1 is ordered to scan a derelict medical ship, and then a dead Erinyes, the mission goes to 'downloading new orders', and then simply replays itself. Is this meant to happen?

Re: Into The Depths Of Hell Chapter 2
That's the last mission. Should've ended intead of looping, though. Odd.

Re: Into The Depths Of Hell Chapter 2

Re: Into The Depths Of Hell Chapter 2
Hey I'm playing through Chapter 4, (until my comp crashed loading one of the missions) and I think it's quite a bit better. At least in terms of mission design, for the most part. Though it's not clear to me as to whether it's actually possible to fail a mission in this campaign (beyond dying). I have command screaming at me for losing ships left and right but I always hit ACCEPT on the debrief and advance so who knows.

I'm not really a huge fan of the pseudo red-alerts either. Guy  tells me I've only got time for water and a reload but when I'm back in the air my weapons config is completely different (ie set back to default). Kinda annoying. But I guess I can deal with lightning guns and harpoons instead of kaysers and tornadoes.
