I personally liked Duress better but this is very good indeed. I would say though that your music benefits from a more dominant drumbeat but you can totally ignore that if you want.

I deliberately reduced the prominence in the drums to bring out the melody in this song, as the melody is by far the more important driving factor. The song is supposed to be super-crazy-fast as it was a request by a friend for an FFR song.

make sense, although a crazy fast drum beat could be used to great effect although maybe not quite as fast as you were going for.
