About six years ago over at F2S we had a fan-fiction section going, which was basically an archive of stories written by FreeSpace players. It got lost a long time ago when our site was destroyed, and since then I've never made the attempt to restore it - until now. I'm looking for all completed (or partially completed) works of fiction that has been created by FreeSpace players. You can send them in any format to my e-mail address ([email protected]) along with the title and your name. If it's a piece of work written by someone who is longer around - please be sure to obtain permission first. The idea behind this is not to provide another place where people can leave comments, but merely an archive for the works posted here. The original idea also incorporated artwork/renders being included with each piece of fanfiction. There are also plans to run a fanfiction competition in the near future. So please, if you have something you consider finished, nearly finished, or just a complete chapter of a story - please send it in.  This is not entirely limited to fanfiction - I'm also looking for music and videos, but that can be for another time.

There's the FS fan-fiction archive site, with stuff like 'Last of Mankind' ( about the GTVA being destroyed ), or the 'Conversation' ( how the T-V war started ). You can find a link to 'The Last of Mankind' in my sig. You'll then be able to find the rest of that site's fanfics from there.

You think I don't know that? Jesus christ, I know that. I used to admin for a fanfiction community. Certainly, we're above average, but put bluntly, we haven't even gotten through the 90% of Sturgeon's Law yet.

Hunter, here is something you could archive (unfortunately, it seems to have been abandoned).  You should also, for sure, archive the professional fanfic written for the release of FreeSpace, linked in this thread.
