You know, I thought this was fixed in the final release.

Of cource, I am so tired I amost don't know what I'm talking about (realy I am), so I maybe simply talking bull****.

Is this that BP mission where you ram the big thing into that little hole between the ravanas?
If it is, the Ravanas are using custom beams.
Not FSU's fault.

In any case just make sure... Run debug build... Quit when/if you reach main hall.. Find 'fs2_open.log' from the freespace\data and post it here

Those are custom beams, the beams that the Ravana normally uses (Applies for most other Shivan large beam weapons with the exception of BFRed) have white plasma (Lightning) crackling through the center.

Anyway. Try downloading the fixed fixed HTL Ravana from here. It should work if the custom beams are the trouble.

Uh, no it won't - and you'd just be using an older version of the Ravana than is in the new MVPs. ;)

Here, place this TBM in "blueplanet\data\tables" (creating it if it doesn't exist) and it should correct the beam warmup glow missing problem. Basically all it's doing is re-asserting the warmup glow name that the MVPs use by default.

I just don't see why the beams are changed from HRed back to LRed, what's the difference between the two really other than the fact one has a broken glow effect and looks like a Retail beam?
