Maybe not, afterall the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade got rickrolled last month.

That was original though. Reviving old jokes is funny and original if you do something new with it. Adding a rick rolling link to a forum so that people click on it and get rick rolled is what happened when the joke started. If you want to rick roll now you either do something new or accept that you're unoriginal and unfunny enough to still be trying to wring some humour out of a joke that everyone else stopped  doing a long time ago. :p
