Variations on the Kanon [Canon] by Johann Pachelbel...

...because there are so many versions. What do you you think is the best version on the original "Canon" by Johann Pachelbel? [including the original if you think so]. Also, list any songs that are based on the song.

Some starters:

Johann Pachelbel - Canon [in D major]
George Winston - Variations on the Kanon by Johann Pachelbel [in D major?]

I also discovered that the song "Go West" by the Pet Shop Boys has a similar sounding tune to it...

Canon is overplayed. And also turned into suck due to re-interpretations, IMHO.

When Kanon was mentioned, I was thinking of this. :p Video doesn't have translated lyrics though.
