WEll they've updated the forecast, 41 feet by Sat.  (18' is considered flooding)  We're getting snow now, but the temps have dropped below freezing.

Also you could get icejams, which is exactly what happened to the north of Winnipeg (it looks like I'm not too far from you Scooby ). There was an icejam and the water pretty much flashflooded about a dozen houses by the river.

Winnipeg has a floodway so we're safe from the flood, hypothetically anyway. They won't open it until there's no ice in the river (so that doesn't jam either) and the river's getting pretty high.

Bismarck had a bad ice jam, they just dynamited it.  The river went down 2'. It doesn't look like we've got much for ice.  It's just that this extra warm temps did us in.  About 3 Tuesday ago we had about 10" of snow, the following tuesday we were nearly at 50F.

Southwestern part of Moorhead will be under a required evac come tomorrow morning.  They can't make the levees high enough anymore, some of them are nearly a street wide.  Also part's of north moorhead I believe are under evac, the levees broke.  I cann't confirm or deny this, this is what i've been told.  A friend of mine that lives up that way was evac. 

Edit: Concordia college is evac.ing, their shutting water/sewer down.
