Problems with backround
I need help. I've problems with the backround. If I want to add a sun, the sun is coming. But when I want to add a planet, the planet comes at the same place like the sun. What did I wrong? Thank you for helping me!

Re: Problems with backround
You didn't change the PBH settings. Select the planet you just added and change them. They stand for Pitch, Bank and Heading and they're the number of degrees (0 to 360) you want to place the object at. Try changing them by 10 at a time and you'll soon see their effect.

Re: Problems with backround
Change the heading of the sun or planet bitmap.

In the background editor, next to the window where the planets appear ( same for the sun ) are three letters:
P, B, H.

P is for pitch, B for bank, and H for heading.

Play around with the values ( are numbers from 0 - 360 degree ) of P and H  (leave bank alone for the moment ).

Hope this helps.

EDIT: Karajorma was faster... :)

Yeah, pretty much what they said. Also there's Lightspeed's Nebulae Pack which you'll find by searching it up on the wiki which is also a great help by adding high resolution nebulae. And also remember to extract starfield.pof or .ibx from the mv_effects.vp if you use them and put them into your data/effects directory for the mod you're working on and select it as a background to enable the starry backgrounds you see in the mediavps.
