Ah, then yes, you're out of luck for any real means of running FRED. Your only other chance would be through full OS virtualization, running it in VirtualBox or something. But that would be tough on that hardware. I'd suggest Windows 2000, but I'm not sure how well it runs in VirtualBox/VMWare. There is a way to run linux on PPC, but I think Wine wouldn't work so well on it in that case either (it would have the same bad QEMU support it does with Darwine). Not sure about MacOnMac really. But, there are linux variants that run on PPC, YellowDog is an old one, and Gentoo has some support for it too (but it's not very newbie-friendly). VirtualBox might be a simpler overall solution than Kju. Just throwing some more ideas out there.
So, I tried all of these, and...
VirtualBox: Seems to be Intelmacs-only, I found a link talking about "bochs", but it's Linux-only
VMWare: Tried to look into the site, but I didn't understood
MacOnMac: Already tried, I'll retry, but site seems to be down
Various Linux Builds: I tried Ubuntu for PPC and Debian, but when I installed (i'm installing on an external USB IDE hard drive) the OS it crashed on installing yaboot (maybe i should install it on my main internal hard drive? But I don't want to lose my OSX... Ideas?). Fedora seems to be PPC-compatible too, but it crashes randomly. I'm going to take a look to YellowDog, but it will make the same error as the others? You know, CD-Rs gets 7.70€ for 10 pieces...
Thanks for support, you're helping me so much : )
Last news: I tried again with MoM, but the actual release (0.2) has no Tiger (10.4.x) support. The Tiger version has only a bunch of file to compile.
Now, I can't compile files, because I simply don't know how to do this. If you could help with this, I'll be very grateful.
Thanks again to chief1983, who made me look more carefully to what I already have im my hands xD
