Why, you ask? Simple: This forums administration has gone to ****.
One of the administrator is an extremist left wing **** who thinks anyone who says the word "nigger" in any instance should have his testicles removed. While racism is a valid issue, perma banning over a one time instance is ridiculous. This is also a person who monkeyed me for a day for calling somebody an idiot, banned cole for saying "fag" (which really is just used interchangeably with asshole these days, and doesn't even mean anything. While I agree it's generally a term used only by the ignorant, again, things were taken too far here).
Now, on the opposite end of the scale, we have an admin that spams more than half the forum (Not combined, I'm trying to be as clear as I possibly can here, since it seems my posts are constantly being misinterpreted), has huge ridiculously annoying avatars (oh, the irony!) and has failed to do anything assertive at all (to my knowledge) during my two years here.
Now, on to the moderators. People, people, people... We all know everybody here. Dekker, Nuke, Snail... These are not people who should be moderating. The older mods (Flipside, UT) rarely do anything anyway. Understandable, they have lives. Out with the old and in with the new. HLP is an old forum, and if it is to survive you cannot have the same people running it forever. I've written up this list of people here who I think would make excellent admins/moderators, although you two are too stuck up to even consider doing such a thing.

Moderators: Blowfish, General Battuta, Mad Bomber, Kosh, Nuclear1
Secondly, there are two people on this forum who, in my most humble opinion, deserve a permaban. Why haven't they been banned yet? Contributions. Surely you have some fancy way of banning these people only from general discussion, no? There are two more that come to mind that I think, on numerous occasions, have deserved a temp ban which never came to them. But I'm trying my hardest not to name any names here.
Hard Light Productions is going to die a slow, sad death. Idiotic moderating and inactive moderators have driven away far more people than the use of the term idiot has or ever will.
I'd like to believe it's not too late, but you (the admins) are too dead set in your ways that I fear change will not come at all.
P.S. This is in Gen Disc because I do not believe very many people would end up reading it in site support.
