Is there a way I can extract FS2 Models into 3DStudio Max?
I've been wanting to get the original FS2 models into Max so I could convert them into formats for use in other games like Homeworld or ST:A2

I didn't know 3D Exploration supported POF files

Is there a way I can extract FS2 Models into 3DStudio Max?
...or convert to .cob and save the files as 3DS MAX files. I'm pretty sure it lets you do that...

download VP view...extract all models and maps to a directory... use POF Constructer suite to convert the models to .cob format. Then use 3d Exploration to change the .cobs to .3ds, and there ya go...
