As some of you may or may not know, mura and I have a mod/campaign in the planning stages, attempting to bring some of the style and spirit of Gurren Lagann to FS. In an effort to give this project a chance of actually being completed, I would like to use already existing community resources whenever possible, so that I won't have to make them or bother some already busy modder with making them.
One of the most important ships needed will be the player's primary fighter: a highly advanced, super fighter meant to stand in for the titular mech in Gurren Lagann. What I'm looking for is something light but not extremely so, like the Perseus for example. Something that looks sleek and fast, but could still hold some ordinance. Also, bonus points if it's red or could be relatively easily retextured to be red.
I've looked through just about everything on FSmods as well as some models dumps and found a few likely candidates, but nothing that has really 'clicked'.
Pictures and links would be most appreciated, but a name is enough. Any ideas for an awesome huge baseship are welcome too, but that's another thread.
EDIT: Oh and the Perseus Adv is right out. Sorry to whoever made that, but it really doesn't do it for me.
