Extracting Sounds from FS2
Is there any way to extract the ingame weapon sounds and explosions and such from the game?

Thanks.

Re: Extracting Sounds from FS2
They're in the .vp files.

You need a program like VPView (available here) to open and extract from them.

If you used Turey's installer, VPView is probably already in your FreeSpace2\tools folder.

* BloodEagle is curious as to why someone would need the weapon sounds, of all things.

Making something?
