question has any one made a SAM pod sought of thing like the watchdog but with missiles?

It shouldn't be that hard to do with the existing Sentry Guns, but to answer your question, I don't think so.

There is the Gungnir, which I just uploaded to FSMods after noticing it wasn't up there. It's not a real SAM, but it does have missile launchers alongside normal cannons.

It might look a bit dated by now though, it was created ages ago.

I did a low-poly project early in my modeling career called the "Rampart Missile Battery."  It was a small space station that lobbed nuclear-tipped cruise missiles at inbound destroyers.

thanks guys for the responses i havent got the game but im hopping soon ill be able to get it but i was thinking of making a campain(unrealated to the freespace universe) and was wondering if something like this was all ready made.

You can always change the table for an existing object you like from a primary weapon to a secondary....

(Yes Captain obvious I know).  :lol:

You could also take one of the default sentry guns and put a new turret on it. Also good for a back-story in the tech room.

I think it'd be better to make a new SAM from scratch though.
