Improve fred2_open launcher interaction
Right now all you need to do to play a mod is to select the mod once in launcher and fs2_open plays it even when launched directly from fs2_open exe. For this reason I never use the launcher for anything but switching mod.

But fred2_open does not support this, for fred2_open I need to create a shortcut for every build and every mod I want to use and that sometimes climbs to half-a-dozen shortcuts. It's annoying, especially when .11 builds that are posted in the Nightly board have build numbers. Which means I either have to rename them or edit shortcuts every time. Zacam's are an exception, his exes do not have build numbers in names.

Can someone please add support for launcher6.ini in fred2_open? That would get rid of managing those annoying shortcuts.

'Launch Fred' in the launcher would be nice also :)

Re: Improve fred2_open launcher interaction
Once (in 3.6.10 nightlies, as well as some early 3.6.11), FRED used the same mod that was set in launcher.
Then it got dropped, I don't know why, but it would be great if it was re-added.
