Awwww... Clash of the Titans music messed up :(

I just loaded the mission from the Tech Room (I extracted the .vp since I was only in the middle of the campaign and I needed some footage of that mission) and I was sad to see that the music is not the same :( Or at least it triggers elsewhere, who knows.

I mean, the distress and OMG music (I sadly don't know the title) used to start up (in the original FS1) just when the Tantalus appears and the wingman screams the "Protect the Bastion!"-line. Also, if the Bastion gets destroyed, we hear the victory music in the debriefing.

Why is that? Is it an issue with my comp or the fact that I am playing with the extracted version? Or what hiccuped?

Waiting is fun.

If you did this with FSPort, why? It would have been easier and faster to just boot up teh game, go to the Mission Simulator and hit Ctrl + Shift + S to view all the missions in the campaign.

There is a Let's Play with the original FS1 on Viddler, you can check the differences there.

For me it does.

Yup. Redownloaded and reinstalled FS2 and 3.6.10 and mediavps just recently after a short absence (yes, I know, shame on me for deleting FS2 from my HDD :P) and everything works like a charm, except for my rusty skills. The Ctrl-Shift-S still works.

Anyway, does anyone know why does the music differ in FSPort from FS1?

Which is something I've done at least 12 times and not once has it worked for me.
