Vasudan Rough Model

Not quite sure where to put this as its not strictly a freespace mod.

Ive created a rough basemodel for a vasudan.

I wanted the community on here to take a look at it to see areas where it could be improved.

It is just for rough shape/scale. Its not been smoothed and no, it doenst have a head.

Looks like a Vasudan-designed mecha or android to me. :)

If you want to model a Vasudan, though, you might want to start with this package.

Well it looks blocky because it has absolutely no smoothing applied yet.
This is just my base model for smoothing and adding detail to.

It is going to look about a million times better than this.

Well, hard to pinpoint anything at this moment... It looks like a good basis for further work though. Keep it up :)

Its expensive though, im using the trial version, but im getting the full one soon.



What areas would you suggest for improvement, this is only my third model using this software so I could really use some input.

I was almost thinking it was Silo...

The head in general needs much better shaping. Unless you're crossing a Vasudan with a fly in some sort of terrible teleporter accident...  :lol:

Well the hips look good, but the torso and head are way out of whack. You do have plenty of reference material, right?

ZBrush is good if you know how to use it. I'm currently learning through school.
