So I just got FS2 from GOG.com and downloaded Turey's FSOpen installer.  Everything has gone smoothly say for a few modules.  Here is the final output from the installer:

The recurring theme here is http://www.fszmirror.com/files/ (which is an empty directory) and the other mirror (last few lines above).  Can anyone provide me with these files and describe where I need to put them relative to my FSOpen installation?

Because of an Installer problem, unfortunately you'll have to download the .ogg cutscene pack, multiplayer voice pack, and 3.6.10 MediaVPs patch separately.

Let me see if I can dig up some links.

No, it's not an Installer problem; it's the problem of whoever is responsible for maintaining the cutscene and multiplayer links.  (According to that log, the mediavps worked.)

If someone can give me fixed links, I can update them myself.  (They need to be direct links.)

That's is what I figured. I'd offer to host them myself but my domain is only used for email and is otherwise forwarded off to blogger.

Let me know if you find some good links, I'm looking forward to getting back into this.

Can anyone provide me with these files and describe where I need to put them relative to my FSOpen installation?

FS1 OGG cutscenes (non-vp version) -> \freespace2\fsport\data\movies\ .
FS2 OGG cutscenes (non-vp version) -> \freespace2\data\movies\ .
Multiplayer mission pack -> \freespace2\ .
Multiplayer voice pack -> \freespace2\ .
Homesick -> \freespace2\homesick\ .

Logical notes: If you don't want to play Homesick (a user-made campaign/mod), you don't need to download it.
If you won't be playing multiplayer, you won't need the multiplayer files.
Since you purchased FS2 from GOG, you already have the FS2 cutscenes. They should be in \freespace2\data2\movies or \freespace2\data3\movies\ or something like that. A total of 10 files with .mve extension. FSO can't play them from their original location but if you move them to \freespace2\data\movies\ , they'll work.

Also, if a directory mentioned above doesn't exist in your computer, just create it.
