More and more often I see this happening:


I also see it on more recent youtube videos.
It seems to happen regardless of mods used.

It doesn't constantly happen but seems to happen randomly. I don't recall having this problem a while back.
Thoughts?

Are there tbl changes you made? What build are you using? Why aren't you posting a fs2_open.log? Is the effect just not rendered properly?

Probably nothing but a frame refresh glitch. It seems in your screenshot that the other lasers you fired are as far from each other.

Run a debug build and post the <fs2dir>\data\fs2open.log

I've noticed that, it falls into the category of "not worth fixing". I'm not even sure that it's a glitch.

I agree with Ryan. It is pretty minor and only happens when looking in specific directions.

fs2open.log shows nothing out-of-the ordinary. Just a render glitch I assume.
