Yeah, I'll miss the vbb, sure, but the layout for HLP is just amazing.  A much more powerful messagebase interface.

But the flamewars were so absolutely HILARIOUS (before they eventually got really irritating)!  My highlight some days was just watching Zylon rip into some trolls like Alpha One.  "Don't feed the troll!"

I know there's none of that here, which is definitely a good thing.  Already it seems like a great place for Freespace.  Now if only there was a new Fred forum....
