Hm, my card is a ATI 2600HD with the latest drivers.
I
think it works now, i loaded the Arcadia model 4 times and the error occured only two times.
I guess that's a improvement.
What i did is, de-install the drivers again and install only the drivers
without the ATI command center ( which always was running with default settings anyway ).
I always had the the command center installed, so i wonder why all of a sudden this error occurs.
I blame ATI for it. Seriously. WTF?

Anyway, it seems i can edit .pof files again, so thanks to everyone for the help and sorry for any inconvenience!
