It reminds me of that time when the Khenmu "slashed" me right at the begining of Slaying Ravana ^^, blasting my turret & living me with 1% HP.

Reminds me of Rebels and Renegades.  On two or three consecutive attempts, I caught a VSlash, not because I was between the Iceni and the Sobek, but because I chose the wrong moment to step out from behind that hulking meat shield.

[EDIT]I love how indignant the support ship pilot sounds!  Of course, after having to chase you over half the known galaxy, while you're still clearly firing missiles, only to have you wander into the line of fire and get vaporized, he's probably got a right to be angry.[/EDIT]

support pilot gets a tough break really.  He jumps into a combat zone in an unarmed ship that just screams shoot me, gets dragged about the battlefield only to get forgotten when he is not needed and not a second thought given when the pilots call for him but hes blown up

Heheh. I kind of expected that last one (the Naberus' main beam vaporizing you) when I saw you only fired 2 trebs at it, since that leaves the system at 25% (unless you accidentally hit one of the little baffles underneath... if that happens you're screwed).

I took issue with the Tiamat's survival my last time out too.  Opted for a different solution than replaying....
