Some technical questions
Hey guys, I haven't fiddled around with FRED and Freespace 2 in about a year and there are several things I used to be able to do and now I am drawing a complete blank. I tried searching the forums for these items but I can't seem to get the answers I need.
First off, I used to know how to make a mod.ini file that not only loaded the items in the folder, but also draw upon another mod. IE. If I was making a folder with my mod and wanted it to load the Freespace Open mediavps as well.
Secondly, I am trying to get my pilot set to a mode where the campaign has been completed. I searched the forums and someone mentioned that you can use a -allslev or -levelcomplete in the command line to accomplish this but it does not accept the code. I tried looking for a file name with my pilot name on it do manually edit it, but I can't see where my pilot files are at. Thought this would be a rather simple one but I'm stumped.
Thank you in advance to anyone that can provide me with some insight on this.

Pilot files are in <FS2 dir>\data\players\single ( or <FS2 dir>\data\players\single\inferno, if you're using Inferno builds). However, they are not user-editable. As for those two commandline options, they don't exist. Whoever told you about them was either referring to some old FSO build, or to another game entirely.  So, it seems you're going to have to produce those campaign-completed states the hard way.
