Now's your chance fellows, join the Dodgy Mod for fame and repute!

Simply visit http://dodgymod.pokemonlegend.net/forum.htm, register an account, and post in the volunteer thread under announcements. This is very important; I recognized a few names registered, but nobody's posted yet. Don't be such wusses, ya pansies!

Q: "Wait a second," you say, "I'm pretty sure this was going to be a BSG Mod! Why are you asking?"
A: To be a full BSG mod, we'll need models at least. But without models, it's just a bunch of missions swapping "Shivans" with "Cyclons." So far, we have a partially finished Viper by Dekker, I think, but we'll need more.

We currently need:
Writer(s) of dialogue, missions, story(?), jokes(??). This is especially important if this is going to be a BSG campaign, becuase I know almost nothing about it.
Modelers. If you want modeling practice without fear of ridicule, make us some ships.
FRED guys. I'm the only one so far, and my most complicated mission has about 5 events.
Sound effect people. If all you can do is go "BOOOM" into a microphone, we can use that.
Voice actors could be a nice touch, if that's all you can do, let us know.

If you have any questions, comments, complaints, etc., post them here or in the dodgy forum and Dekker or I will try to answer them.

About the poll:
This should be a community project, so I'm asking you all, the community. There are multiple questions there, and I've tried to separate them into groups. You may pick as many options as you wish, and should hopefully be able to change your vote in the future.

Okay, I think that's enough time to collect a representative sample. So, at long last, what you've all been waiting for, I hope you're hanging on to something and/or sitting down: The results.

1: At least 50% of voters are disreputable jokers
2: Slightly more people favor an FS mod (53%) than a BSG mod (38%)
3: About an equal number to those are the people who would like to see some sort of unholy crossover between the two (46%  I assume that's what everybody was thinking when they hit "Yes")
4: 77% of all voters are in favor of JAD references in some quantity greater than 0
5: 120% more people want a comical but playable mod than those who want a straight dodgy mod. I can't really blame them, but I am dissappoint because now we'll need to put in some effort on this
6: 50% of respondents can expect to encounter some sort of fuzzy pachyderm
7: Strangely, only 46% of voters want it to be awesome. Frankly, I'm relieved

Well, how about an ordinary campaign, but one where you fight a losing battle against the shivans? Come to think of it, there was one a couple months ago, but that was a sudden turn-around at the end, instead of a constant downhill battle. What can I say, I'm a sucker for agony and peril.

And then turn it into a BSG scenario but in Freespace, but without the kooky religious stuff (Which, contrary to what most people seem to think ran through the entire show, and made for a hideous deus ex machina ending - though the show wasn't terrible for it.) - well, save for however you interpret the Shivans (The Ancients certainly seemed to have a semi-religious view of them)
