I had a lot of time while the forums were down, and with the stuff going on at the VWBB, I came up with this....
Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

It seems that you still have path configured for E:\Games\FreeSpace2. That was the path where DaveB's FS2 were installed when he compiled the source for public. You need to change the patch to your own installation path.

Don't ask how, I'm not coder. I just noticed that when I was looking at the files.

Of course one of the possibilities might be that you have FS2 installed to E:\Games\Freespace2 ;)
