Working on Syrk we hit the situation a few moments ago where we wanted to completely extract vp files, (long story).  My personal preference for viewing and extracting vp files is VP View which normally does everything i need (usually only extract a small number of files at a time) but the program lacks the facilities to extract complete vp files efficiently.  Is the source code available and is anyone able and willing to add the feature?

VP View 2.0 is also a rather capable utility, it might be capable of that, though I never checked.

This might sound silly if you already know this, but if you go into a folder with VPview32, click the top file, hold shift and click on the bottom file you can select and then extract the entire folder's files at once. This makes doing what you are talking about much more quickly than file by file extraction, especially for the effects folder.

Maja is a java app and I was not able to get it to work.

Zacam: Uh. No, using an effect is okay. But you are literally using the TECHROOM ani as the weapon effect.

You do need to have the Java runtime installed.
