Ambient Factor not working correctly
The -ambient_factor flag works properly on some mods but not on others, sometimes the flag works and sometimes it doesn't. what can cause this flag to work improperly? I am using the current MediaVPs and 3.6.12 INF SSE2 exe.  Thanks in advance for any help.

I suppose the first question would be, how do you know that -ambient_factor is not working correctly?

Next would be please run a debug build and post the logs (last post in that thread) that result when running a mod in which -ambient_factor does not work and a mod in which -ambient_factor is working fine.  Screen shots could be nice.

In general though, you are normally seeing the differences in art style, textures, and lighting maps for the different ships.
