Marcov vs. the IRC

I got banned again from #hardlight. Well, not sure if that was a premature decision, but I'll try going back (hopefully without any trolls blabbering about stuff like that).
With the rapid increase of FS fan-made campaigns, we're giving the GTVA a harder time with more violence and genocide.

Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

What you have to realise was that the original ban was never lifted, your IP address changed, this wasn't a "rebanning", and the OP who reinstated the ban has nothing against you, he was merely restoring the status quo.
If you want to be back in #hard-light, PM the person who added the original ban and see how it goes from there.

Marcov, if you don't want to have this happen again, here's some tips.

1. Get in contact with the person who banned you.
2. Figure out why you were banned, and make sure it doesn't happen again
3. HLP the board and #hard-light the channel a separate, if related, entities. Bringing drama from one into the other will never, ever work out well.

Enough.

The -Original- FIRST and only ban instituted has now had to be corrected a second time, because your IP address in the hostmask changed. This does not negate the fact that, as an individual, you are still banned until such a time as the original OP relieves it or a general consensus is reached to remove it.

Further more, deliberate attempts to circumvent the ban to join the channel are in violation of Esper Net charter and can prevent you from even being able to connect to Esper Servers, period.

You've been told that ban's resolve themselves by just waiting. Not circumventing a ban restriction to spout off how it's all bull**** in the channel you were banned from.
