Problem playing in fullscreen.

Forgive me if this problem has been posted/resolved in the past, but I could not find any post regarding this.

I recently picked up Freespace 2 for GOG.com, and installed the FreeSpace 2 Open, everything appeared to install normally.

I've tried different resolutions, and noticed no change (comp default is 1920x1080), playing Freespace without the mod, does not have this problem.

I was able to get Freespace into the windowed view, and its working fine, but I'm hoping someone knows how to fix this full screen problem so I can play that way.

Running:W7 64bit, Intel Core 17 930, 12g ram, AMD Radeon HD 6850.

Please read the FAQ stickied here and follow the instructions to generate and post an fs2_open.log

Just checking, but do you specifically experience this problem when trying to play FSPort? A new version of it was released just yesterday, you could try installing it.

With a powerful computer like yours, why don't you set up the game resolution to your native screen resolution (1920 x 1080) ?

It will run fine, no doubt. And maybe resolve the problem.
Just check your launcher under the "video" tab.
Never far away from HLP and from a computer with an installed FreeSpace.

I'm not sure what exactly those different resolutions you've tried were, but with FSO, you should always attempt to use your monitor's native resolution if your rig can handle it (and yours certainly should), and if your rig can't handle it, you should use a resolution that is at least 1024x768.

Jeff - I'm getting this problem when ever I launch the game via the Open Launcher. Changing the video resolution doesn't seem to fix the problem.

I played around with the settings more, and I found the problem. I have the Windows Font display set to 150% (default is 100%), changing is back to default size fix the full screen issue. I really should of tried this but I forgot about it.

Game runs without any issues now, thanks for all the help.
