Hi!
Is there a way to disable screen shaking when using thrusters or being hit ?
I know that it doesn’t shake when in third person mode, but it’s hard to play that way and I would really love to play without the shaking all the time.
Hope someone knows a way. Thank you.

If i firing Maxims then the screen´s shaking but it´s a normal phenomen as using afterburners or have been hitted by enemy lasers or missiles and skockwaves.
In this game you need a reactions feedback of the ship you fly. (some reality)

While I am of the crowd that prefers to have the visual feedback like peter says, I can also see how the screen shake is irritating to other people.

You can disable it easily enough, just drop to external view. But... then you're in external view. It's a trade off, but you may find it worth it.

Sadly, I do not know of a way to do it without external, perhaps you could disable them in the tbl or something, like for the Maxim, but for afterburner... dunno.

When I was setting up my cockpit I found that setting Slew: in the HUD gauges table to Yes made things shake. So I would guess if you set all instances of Slew: to No then nothing would shake.

You can edit the weapons.tbl to disable shaking for Maxims.
