Now, If you took 10 such arrays and hooked them up in parallel (each 52-series hooked in parallel to each other), I wonder what the results would be?

468 volts, its a lot. but if you must consider that a battery actually has a resistance which caps the max current draw, this is usually a result of the manufacture but can also be used to prevent you from doing anything stupid with the battery, like drawing so much current that it blows up. of course you connect in parallel you can step up the current, and you got an impromptu arc welder that would give you a few seconds of welding. its not really usable or practical for anything other than a childish stunt.

i should point out that you could probably do a boost converter to get the same voltage from a single cell.
