Fear my singing voice....
Well, I wasn't sure whether to do this, because I can't really sing, but I bumped into my old guitarist from years ago and we decided to do some recording for a laugh. So out came my Washburn bass we booted up Cakewalk and transported ourselves back to the late 70's ;)

So I thought, **** it, what's the point of making music if no-one is going to hear it, therefore, I throw this to the wolves.

Be warned, we've decided to do a few more songs, so I'll be inflicting those on you as well :p

Had to upload it to youTube for now, will probably do a more visually active one later.

Re: Fear my singing voice....
Feels a bit lopsided with the vocals panned out to the sides and the guitars more in the middle, but it's a solid afternoon's work to me.  Your voice sounds pretty well suited to this style of music, you just have to find a way to communicate the proper level of narcissistic disdain for everything that a 70s homage demands :D

Re: Fear my singing voice....
Thanks :)

To be honest, Scott wanted me to double-track the vocals, despite the fact that I wasn't entirely settled into the meter of them, having only written them a few minutes before. The end result made the two tracks seem blurred because words didn't start or finish at the same instant, and I ended up processing the life out of the vocals to try and make them fit. Normally I wouldn't mix stuff in that fashion, but it was the only way to get something acceptable out of what I had :)
