well, considering java is required to view the half of the internet that doesn't require flash...

@Klaus: Are you confusing Java with JavaScript? Not many people use Java anymore...

This entire thing strikes me as a non-issue, and it's only made it as a news article because it happened to Apple.  *shrug*

It can happen to just about any company, big or small IMO.

I wish Oracle would just ****ing kill the browser plugin.  Java Runtime Environment in and of itself may be questionably secure, but the browser plugin seems to be where all of these problems are coming from.

I miss when it was still Sun Microsystems running this ****...
Who uses forum signatures anymore?
