Pilot model struggles
I am seriously struggling here.  I spent the better part of friday night through today trying to get the terran pilot model to work in my fighter.  Here's what I have done and where I am:

Extract Loki from Media vp3.6.12.
OPen in PCS2 and then save as a dae.
Extract maps to same folder.
Open dae in pcs2.  It works fine at this stage.

Open dae in blender, export as loki2.dae.
Open loki2.dae in pcs2, and no textures.

I made no changes to anything.  I opened it in blender, then exported it as loki2.  In properties it is showing a material, but not showing a texture.
My plan was to delete everything except for the cockpit stuff, and plug the model into mine as a subobject.  Two days have left me so damned confused that I can't even begin to tell you guys what I have tried and what I haven't.  Only thing I do know for sure, is I have gone so far as to "load default settings" before opening the model.

Anyway, I pressed on to see if I needed import the texture first.  So I deleted all objects except for the pilot model, then went to my UV screen and opened Tercoc01.dds.  Then selected the model in its entirety to compare the UV with the texture.  Then I did nothing, I didn't hit unwrap, i didn't hit anything.  This is what I found:

It would appear that the uv is getting screwed up.  I'm doing something wrong.

The UV is looking fine, either way I never encountered any UV mess-ups during conversion. After export/re-import, are the textures listed correctly in the PCS2 textures node on the left?

Re: Pilot model struggles
pcs2 export to dae.
open dae in pcs2, textures node shows textures.

open in blender, export dae.  open dae in pcs2, no textures in node.

This happens when I do nothing.

For what it's worth, i have been using 2.64, now dling 2.66

Hmm... Did all textures display correctly in Blender? And did you make sure to set the correct texture options for the DAE export?

Re: Pilot model struggles
Textures did not display correctly in Blender, I had the right options.  You said that the UV looked fine, so I went with that.  I deleted materials connected to the model, then saved it.  Opened the model, went to UV view, Created a new image 512^2 (same size tercoc01), then manually added the material and texture.  Replaced the image with tercoc01, and it works now.  I saved it as a blend file for future use.

Thanks for the help.
