requested in the
May 2013 Screencap Contest thread, I've uploaded the beams used to take these screenshots:
Pink Sath + BFFRed: requires
JAD 2.2 BETA whatever to run.
Contains a palette-swapped sathanas and a giant beam of friendship.
The Rest: in theory, they should only require the 3612 mediavps.
Contains the purple, white and black beam effects + blacksplosions shown in the screenshots, + sample table files for all these.
Notes:
-Most of these effects were basically a quick-and-dirty palette swap job, and
haven't been re-compressed, therefore taking much more space than they should be. If anyone finds the time to compress some or all of these effects, I would be very interested in acquiring them
-More importantly: I haven't had time to test the mods yet. I doubt the JAD one would cause much trouble, but I'm not so sure about the other one, which has been axed-out from another modpack. (I only realised after I got to work that I couldn't test the mods ><)
-The purple, white & black beamz should flatten pretty much anyone who approaches them. You might want to change their damage value.
