Source Code Project: A History
Can anyone please write down the key moments of the SCP's history? I'm curious about this, I would like to know more about the project, the people who worked on it, and the goals achieved over the years.

For example, how many bugs have been squashed, how different the latest builds are compared to the original code given by :v:, how many community members have contributed to the project, etc.?

Yeah that's definitely a good place to start.  Of course there's a lot more to fill in I'm sure.

Re: Source Code Project: A History
Thanks for the link, Matth, I was also looking for some statistics about the SCP and a trivia about the project.

Re: Source Code Project: A History
hmmm.. I just restumbled on this thread.  How about some RCS stats? :)  I ran gitstats over the codebase, this is probably one of the most interesting graphs I saw.  It show the most prolific coder per year (at least as fas as commits go, so don't read *too* much into it, e.g. I've personally done a lot of Coverity commits rather than awesome sauce feature commits), and the number of contributors per year which you can see has remained fairly stable since the SCP started.

And here's some author stats as well:

If anyone is interested, here's the full set of stats. It's in html format, unfortunately I don't have any convenient way of hosting that in an easily viewable form.
