Sony's pushing some spaceships with very familiar names...
How did THOSE get there :nervous:

Re: Sony's pushing some spaceships with very familiar names...
Well, considering how Destiny is a Bungie game...
Who do we know here that works for Bungie?   ;)

Crypt hammer? A deep insertion variant?

I know that's not what you intended when you wrote that, but wat.

PS I most have dat ship...
Doesn't matter what the press says. Doesn't matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn't matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right. This nation was founded on one principle above all else: the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world — "No, you move." - Captain America

Destiny doesn't look that amazing to be honest. Looks like Halo.
It's kinda disappointing because the trailer gives this backstory which has shades of say Homeworld and some long-ancient powers battling across the universe and then in the game you're just shooting some monkeys in armour. Maybe it will be good, who knows. But seems over-hyped.

But yeah it's cool when names you made show up in other media. I made a ship for a tabletop game ages ago and later on found out it was the hero ship in Last Exile or some other anime (Silvana)

Difference being that Battuta was actually responsible for inserting those names in there :P

The names "Aurora Wake" and "Crypt Hammer" were taken from BP tech database entries for certain beam weapons.

Watch when Destiny goes live and people newly playing BP think that the team was ripping off names from Bungie.
