Freespace Installer issue with MediaVPs
I am attempting to use the Freespace Open Installer (v2.1.8) to install a fresh copy of Freespace Open with the latest MediaVPs. I tried this first with the Steam version, then decided to support GoG and bought their copy as well (I'm happy to support both ways). In both cases I was met with failure.

That is what I see when the installation finishes.

I am not installing to \Program Files (x86)\   (well, I am, but it's a normal folder named that on an external drive)

Do I need to manually install these myself? Are the appropriate packages already bundled? What options do I have here?

Re: Freespace Installer issue with MediaVPs
Sorry, we're currently having a problem with the installers mirrors.  Until we get them fixed installing those mods manually is pretty much the only option :(

Firstly, here's a monitor of the mirrors that shows what is currently available and what isn't:   https://dev.tproxy.de/fs2/mirrors/

Next we have the two mediavps release threads which should have some working links:
2014:  http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=86475.0
3.6.12: http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=70736.0

Lastly there's the manual install guide for Windows:  http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=78710.0

Awesome! Thanks for the help.

I'm working on downloading these now.
