o m g, kill that background. Your background image should be simple, and not take away from the focus. You shouldn't have to search for the content.

And avoid using the term 'under construction'. People hate seeing that.

How about just don't have links to the parts of the site that aen't up yet. Then have a message at the top saying why all of them don't work. The map is fine for the background, but only if it is a little darker.

Technically a background should not be a nodemap at all, instead, either a solid color, a simple repeating pattern (not animated!!), or a semi-transparent image that stretches, but not tiles (like blizzard.com).

ok the background is now black and white...thanks analazon for doing that...just between you me and cleveland ohio, i think it looks better this way.
