how to adjust graphics settings for dummies
I'm temporarily on another PC with a lot better CPU than the one i usually use, but with onboard GPU (intel 4600), so all in all, even the retail campaign doesn't run smoothly with the default launchers "all features on, high settings", and with both launcher flags and ingame sliders i've no idea where do i start lowering/turning off stuff, so i'm looking for tips like "try turning off shadows first", or bp's "try lowering lightning settings".

Sorry i'm opening a topic for something that must've been already discussed, but i don't remember seeing it.
The lyf so short, the craft so long to lerne.

If you're on an Intel chipset then -no_glsl should be your first port of call. Add it to the custom command-line options if you can't find the setting for it in the launcher.
The good Christian should beware of mathematicians, and all those who make empty prophecies. The danger already exists that the mathematicians have made a covenant with the devil to darken the spirit and to confine man in the bonds of Hell.
