How do I access Freespace Open's text?
I'm considering doing an LP of Freespace. That being said, I'd be really nice not to have to retype all the command briefings, as I don't want to have to take screenshots of every piece of dialogue. Is there a way to get the text of FS/FS2 into Word?

Use the wiki's briefing text pages. Or grab them straight from the .fs2 files which can be opened in Notepad.

Hmm, what would be the files that contain that data?

The root VP file, you'll need VPView to open it. fs2_root or fs2_core, whatever it's called.
