It is almost certainly fake -- note the MSRB "R" rating; a real film that far from release would have a "this film has not yet been rated," since they're usually delivered to the censors fairly close to the anticipated release date.

BTW I have no idea wtf this is supposed to be.  I am guessing from the previous posts that it is based on some sort of anime, which I follow about as enthusiastically as square dancing.

A very good sci-fi anime :) A pretty famous one at that.

That sounds like an oxymoron to me.  Like a very exciting ballet.  Or very enlightened rap "music."

Ok, so why would they re-release it?  It's not like they can resurrect the series.  And I wouldn't think it'd be a big huge seller since probably fewer than enough people have seen the series and would know the character backstories enough to appreciate it fully.

No, I don't, and I really don't feel like getting into a lesser flamewar over it, either.

The only interests I have in anime is the storytelling, and to a lesser extent, the animation itself.

that's why I didn't start one, nice move ;)
I wasn't agressive anyway, your question was legitimate one. but the answer is too long, and for the last few days I've been too lazy. to sum up: bad releases from US editors to be replaced by better ones, new dubbs, removed dubs ffor subs, bonus, etc etc. too many reasons to list, and varying if you look case by case.
