I've been playing many non-voice-acted campaigns lately, and I have found an odd bug. It seems that if I sustain a non-forward view (side, rear, or up) while a series of messages are playing, until I return to forward view the next one won't play. If one is already playing while I switch view, it will play to the end, but all subsequent messages will delay until I look forward again. That causes specially-timed message-event sequences to miss their proper cue. I haven't yet tested to see if this affects only non-voice-acted stuff, or if its related to TTS. I was just wondering if anyone else has encountered this.
