After playing freespace1 again i noticed that on all of the starmaps sol has 3 jumpnodes and the lucifer collapsed one what happened to the rest??

By the way was fs2 rushed cos the cutsences look blocky and well rushed.

There is a thread on this on the VBB...apparently, this was an error on V's part, and they released a fixed node map later.

The funny thing is that the Galatea used one of these other two jump nodes to intercept the Lucifer.

No it didn't. It tried to stop the SD Lucifer at the Delta Serpentis - Sol jump node. That's why, Yours Truly destroyed the SD Lucifer.

That was the Bastion. The Galatea was destroyed just before the Lucifer wiped out Vasuda Prime.

I am talking about the command briefing before the Galatea is destroyed. It says you are moving to intercept the shivan armada bevore it reaches Vasuda prime, and the ani shows the Galatea moving from Delta Serpentis through Sol to it's destination.

Starwing is right, if you look closely at the command breifings it does show the Galatea moving from sol to beta aqualie(whatever) and i think it even speaks about it in the breifing can't quite remember. So i don't think V made a mistake i think they just forgot to tell the player what happened to the others. Possibly the Shockwave coming from the collapsed node collapsed the others???

Maybe. IIRC the final cutscene also says "All jump nodes to Sol have been destroyed."
