"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

In case anyone missed the dramatic ending of this particularly hairy stand-off in the semi-parrallel HLP Liscence thread, the copyright matter is closed. It will be resolved between GE and the staff privately. End of discussion.

That's why I'm keeping things relatively simple. It's not like there's a jumble of tech room stuff all over the place; just a simple and elegant logo. And if anyone asks you what it is, just say "Oh, I'm a developer for a game called Freespace. It's pretty cool, a 3D space combat sim. I do models/missions/coding/textures/interface/*insert contribution here.*" Now instead of being some kind of dweeb you've got a respectable hobby, and may have even gained somebody's interest.

why is that in the SOC section anyways?

Those are Admin Pullovers® and since I can only have one of each item in each store, I decided to spread them out. Once an admin buys one I'll swap it out for another admin. There are generic HLP ones, too.

True true, but it would be cool to see some of the shirts with more... shirt taken up. I'd like to get a shirt that has more than a 3" by 4" "hlp" insignia on the breast for 14.99..  no offense or anything.

I still need to get the beanie though, that would be sick ;7

Jus what my mom would love to see in my sock drawer! A thong with a HLP logo on it and the name "Sandwich" in the middle.

Gotta love it. ;)

No! No! Wrong! Unclean!

Stealth: The only auto goods are the liscense plate holder and sticker. Sorry. But I can print shirts for individual forumites like I did with Admin pullovers.

Oh, and guess what?!

A simple operation on inverting colors and changing the hue. We  can go ahead with the T-shirt idea if you want, with the top 100 active posters listed on it, covering the front and back. It would take some time, though, so I'm only gonna do it if I have the go-ahead.
Hey admins! I can smell a contest givaway!

A cool idea would be to have a contest for whoever can make the best render/design to go on a t-shirt/sweater/whatever and if they win, they get their design and the shirt with the top 100 posters (isn't that a high enough number? i mean, i think we only have a hundred posters.. the rest are inactive or have like 10 posts max)

good basis though, this excellent contest giveaway stuff.
