All requests for FTP access must come from the project lead and must be emailed to [email protected].  I will then contact the people in question, get the relevant details from them and then contact Gamespy.

For the moment, if anyone wants access for multiple projects, we ask that you choose the most important project to get FTP access for.  This is because some people have found that they can access all the hosted folders and we're trying to avoid having more of this.  So hold on for the time being.

Can I please have FTP access to Reciprocity? I asked Shrike a week or so back, and he said to email him, but he never got back to me so I'm assuming he's busy or whatever... It's quite important, cos I need stuff testing by the staff and my server's gone on the blink

If Shrike hasn't gotten to it yet and it's urgent, I would suggest using the file attaching feature vBulleting allows you to do with its posts (max 2MB). Can you survive on that for now?

No, cos I'm not allowed to use attatchments and the file is nearly four MB

Sesq says he can host for me (if he can atually get to the file in the first place), but I'm looking at that more as a temporary solution.

When I've tried to upload SCP builds using attachments, I always run into "The server has encountered an unexpected error.  Please try again later."  Not a browser error - the page was generated by the forum.  This is rather odd, since, zipped, they're only about 1 MB.

Ahhh, that's a bummer. I think we're having a few troubles with the vBulletin which Styxx and Shrike are aware of - but we're holding off upgrading (to a new vB version, we're at 2.2.6 right now) because a major update is coming soon.

Pass is 'hlprules'. Put a file called index.htm in the root dir (can be anything, just needs to be there) and upload to there. Tripod was having a few troubles when I was signing up... cross your fingers and it ought to work.
